Locum Physician Anesthesiologist - Petersburg, VA
- Call shifts are M,W,F and you take beeper call once the ORs are done. Saturdays and Sundays are 24-hour beeper call. The weeks alternate with call on T,TH. On the days that you are not on-call, you cover until 3p. Everyone works on their post-call day because it's beeper call. We plan to use this person in a 4 doc model with them rotating the
- All cases except cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, burns, and thoracic. Peds cases are ENT-only. Our highest volume of cases are general surgery, urology, ENT, and ortho.
- EMR: Epic
- General, vascular, gynecology, obstetrics (600 deliveries per year), ENT, bariatrics, orthopedics, urology, endoscopy, electrophysiology, and podiatric surgery. Level 3 trauma center. No neurosurgery, cardiac surgery, or thoracic surgery. Peds only for ENT, which is mostly tonsils, adenoids, and myringotomy tubes.
