Board Certified: Required
FL State License Required
90 days credentialing timeframe
Minimum Number of shifts per month: 20
Types of Cases: General Surgery, OB/Gyn/GYO, Ortho, Urology, GI, Cath Lab, CVL, Endo, Ent, spines, Very little aortic surgery. No cardiac transplant. Minimal Thoracic volume. Similar cases at both Aventura and Mercy
Majority Case Type: Ortho, General, GYN/GYO/OB
Required Case Type: The cardiac cases are a combination of CABG/Valves/TAVR/Mitraclip/LAA ligation/EP
EMR: Medaxion
Shift Days: Monday thru Friday; 7a-3p, 7a-5p, 7a-7p (aligned w/leaving order)
Call Required: Yes
Weekend Required: Yes
site currently follows 2 weeks on (14 days)/1 week off (7days) cardiac schedule that we would like to continue with. MD's do 70% their own cases and 30% supervision Cardiac model for the facility is 3. Day to day staffing will consist of 2 Cardiacs on site Monday – Friday (working 7a-3p or 7a-5p). 1 of the 2 will be on call M-Fr 5p-7a, Sat. & Sun 7a-7a. (this will change is accordance with the availability we would be able to secure). All of our APPs rotate (no dedicated group for Cardiac).
