Locum - Physician - Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist Hollywood, FL
Will be cross credentialed at 4 sites:
Level 1 Pediatric Trauma with 11 operating rooms
298 total # of beds
Type of cases: Will be covering mostly cardiac for non cardiac and cath lab Approx 200 open hearts annually, 10+ transplants, 500 caths Site does not perform liver/multivisceral transplants. 60/40 covering:solo, with medical direction at 2:1 How much time will MD spend seeing sick or healthy patients (% of sick and % of healthy)? 60% sick 40% healthy
Majority type cases: General Surgery, Ortho, Genitourinary (GU) , Otolaryngology (ENT) & Dental
Required procedures: Comfortable with central lines, a-lines, pressors
Average Time to Credential: 90-120 days
Average Monthly Cases: 800 cases per month
Medically Directed Supervision: 50/50
Care Team Model: CRNA 2; MD 1
EMR: Epic
Accepting FT/PT/PRN availability
