Locum Anesthesiologist Opportunity – Idaho

A healthcare system in Idaho is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist for an ongoing locum opportunity beginning June 2026. Coverage is primarily needed in Boise, with occasional coverage in Nampa.

Position Highlights:
• Ongoing locum assignment starting June 2026
• Primarily Monday–Friday schedule with some nights and weekends
• Preference for providers available full-time, though minimum availability is 2 full weeks per month
• Mix of scheduled clinical coverage and call responsibilities
• Practice in both independent and care team models
• Comfortable case mix including:

• General anesthesia
• Regional anesthesia
• OB coverage
  • No cardiac, transplant, or complex pediatric cases
  • Level II Trauma environment in Boise
  • Community hospital support in Nampa

Call Details:
• 1–2 in-house weekday call shifts per month
• Approximately 1 weekend call shift per month
• Additional OB night/weekend coverage opportunities at Nampa

Compensation:
• $400/hour standard rate
• $565/hour overtime and holiday rate
• Additional call compensation available

Requirements:
• Active Idaho license or IMLC eligibility
• DEA and Idaho CSR required
• Minimum 1 year post-residency experience preferred
• Comfortable supervising CRNAs and performing own cases
