Locum - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia Detroit, MI
-Dates of Coverage: January 1, 2025 – January 1, 2026
-Reason for Coverage: Expansion
-Practice Setting: Hospital-based pain management clinic
-Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (40 hours/week)
-Documentation System/EMR: Epic
-Supervision Model: ACT Care-Team model; anesthesiologists present at induction, emergence, and key intervals during cases
-Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: 60 total
-Trauma Level/Designation: Level 1 Trauma Center
-Operating Room Staff: Collegial team environment
-Number of Operating Rooms: 25
-Training or Experience Requirements: Level 1 trauma experience required; no new graduates
-Patient Age Demographics: Few pediatric cases; primarily adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
Required Procedures:
-General surgical cases (adult and pediatric)
-MRI, endoscopy, IR, EP lab
-IV regional anesthesia
-Spinal anesthesia
-Neurosurgical cases
-Ventilation management
-Arterial and central line placement
